Outdoor inline hockey wheels make or break your game on asphalt — and soft indoor wheels fail fast. The WHLZ Rocket Propulsion is built specifically for outdoor surfaces: 85A hardness urethane that holds up on rough asphalt, cracked concrete, and neighborhood streets without wearing down in weeks.
Most inline hockey wheels are designed for smooth indoor surfaces. Take them outside and you're looking at flat spots, cracked urethane, and dead grip within a season. The Rocket Propulsion skips the compromise — 85A hardness means maximum durability on abrasive surfaces while still delivering smooth rollability and consistent speed.
Built in three sizes to fit standard inline hockey skate frames. Bearings not included.
Specs:
- Hardness: 85A (Outdoor Formula)
- Sizes: 72mm / 76mm / 80mm
- Construction: Durable urethane — optimized for asphalt and outdoor concrete
- Pack options: 1 wheel
- Bearings: Not included
FAQ
Can I use these outdoor inline wheels on rough asphalt?
Outdoor inline wheels at 85A hardness are built for asphalt, rough concrete, and neighborhood streets. The Rocket Propulsion's urethane formula is designed to resist the abrasion that destroys soft indoor wheels in weeks.
Why do I need 85A hardness for outdoor hockey?
Soft indoor wheels at 72A-76A wear through fast on outdoor surfaces. 85A hardness gives you the durability you need on rough asphalt while still rolling smooth and fast. Anything softer breaks down too quickly to be worth it outside.
Will these wheels fit standard inline hockey skates?
A: Yes. The Rocket Propulsion is available in 72mm, 76mm, and 80mm — the three standard inline hockey frame sizes. Check your current wheels for the size printed on the side and replace like-for-like.
